THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE PROJECT
A SHARED CONNECTION TO BOUNTY
1978 BOUNTY CIC was established by Belinda Boyd and Peter Dodson to help take the ship’s story forward bringing together the people, knowledge and expertise needed to explore her future. The project is bigger than the two of them. It brings together experience in design, maritime history, engineering, sailing and heritage, alongside people who have known, sailed, worked on and cared for the vessel during her time.
THE PEOPLE WHO KNOW HER
The Bounty Heritage Advisory Council brings together people with knowledge and experience connected to the ship. Their role is to advise and guide the project as it moves through each stage. The Keepers form the knowledge base of the Council.
THE PROJECT IS BUILT ON A SIMPLE BELIEF
