Bounty will need to be assessed and prepared for the journey, with her condition, structure, machinery, rigging, navigation, safety systems and operational readiness carefully reviewed.
Voyage planning will bring together naval architects, marine specialists, experienced crew, surveyors, insurers, port authorities and regulatory bodies.
The route, weather, provisioning, communications, clearances and contingency arrangements will all form part of a professionally managed passage plan.
