Return of the Bounty: Flagship of the Fleet
1988 Commemorative Edition
Published by Australian Hi-Fi Publications Services Pty Ltd and presented by Electronic Enterprises, this illustrated commemorative publication records Bounty’s role as flagship of the First Fleet re-enactment voyage.
It includes “Bounty” 1987: A Photographic Log by Toni Hutchison, bringing together photographs and diary extracts from the voyage. The wider publication explores the re-enactment, transportation to the Australian colonies, early settlement and the people of the First Fleet.
Together, its photographs, personal observations and historical background provide a contemporary record of Bounty’s sailing life during the Australian Bicentenary commemorations.
